A board has been appointed comprising of Naomi Milgrom, Jillian Broadbent, Rupert Myer and John Kaldor. The members of the Board were selected for their experience in both the arts and the corporate worlds.
The aim of Kaldor Art Projects Inc. is to continue to bring ground-breaking contemporary art to Australia. For the artists selected, these projects often represent a unique opportunity to take their work a step further at times in a new direction. Exciting new plans are under development and their scope is challenging.
Christo & Jeanne-Claude’s Wrapped Coast was made possible by finding and obtaining permission for a site in Sydney and after thirty years has become part of Australian art history. Jeff Koons’ Puppy won the hearts of Sydney and thousands of visitors before its permanent installation at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain.
